The Tiger Preservation Center is a federally regulated facility exhibiting the world's rarest tigers.

The Tiger Preservation Center is dedicated to the preservation of endangered species, with special attention to prevent extinction of the Bengal Tiger. At the present time there are less then 250 white tigers in the entire world.

Many captive tigers and big cats lead a pitiful existance in small quarters, being physically abused, or forced to perform in circus acts or other forms of entertainment. These animals experience painful emotional trauma. After a stressful experience the animal's usefulness is diminished. By displays of aggressiveness due to its inability to adapt to the unnatural conditions, the animal may seem vicious and can no longer be handled. It is then given away, sent to a game ranch, or sheduled for euthinasia. These creatures are fading from our existence so quickly.

The Center rescues and rehabilitates abused, abandoned, and unwanted exotic cats. We work tirelessly to repair the physical and emotional damage and to rebuild the lost trust so desperately required for animals to survive in captivity. The hard work and challenges come and go but the love for our animals will always remain.

The Center has a successful educational program that brings the public up close and personal with our vanishing species.

The Center exhibits tigers of all colors including the very rare solid white with no strips, one of 10 in the world. Also the Golden Tabby tiger, light gold with dark gold stripes. We offer photo sessions with our endangered species by appointment only.
