March 6, 2008 I'm sorry I've been away from my site for so long. After I got my new layout up and running I got busy making individual Valentine patches for all the bees in the Q*Bee group. I'm quite proud of the ones I've done so far and I'm still not done!!! I went away on a two week business trip halfway through February and just got back on March 2nd. Matt visited me while I was on my trip and has been very very sick for the past week or so, so I blame him for me being sick since I got home. I've had nothing as bad as him...so far... just a terrible soar throat, some nausousness, and (what kept me away from the computer until now) a NASTY migraine headache. But now I'm back. I have tons of pictures I've been meaning to get up on this site for awhile now. That and finishing those Valentine patchs (now WAY late) will be my priority. Then I'll set up my Valentine page (also way late) to display all the Valentines I've given and received. There's a new Q*Bee activity up for this month (spring flowers). It looks totally fun and I plan on making at least one flower for the garden. - Meghan January 18, 2008 A new layout! I started this layout nearly 2 months ago, but life got busy. I've finally finished it and put it up today and I couldn't be happier. The artwork featured in this layout is by Josephine Wall. She's awesome. My Holidays were great. I got to see lot's of family and friends. I got a digital camera for my birthday (December 28th). I LOVE it! I took lots of pics of Christmas festivities with it. Now that the new layout is finally up my next task will be to get all my new pictures up. I got a new job that started January 1st. I still volunteer at the Oakland Zoo whenever I can, but not nearly as often as I used to. I need a well paying job with benefits and I found that at PetSmart. I'm going to be the new Pet Care Manager. Currently I'm a Support Manager while I'm being trained in all the intricacies of being Pet Care Manager (LOTS of paperwork). Basically I will be responsible for ordering animals, making sure all the animals are healthy and well taken care of, overseeing the associates that work in my department, and a bunch of other management duties. It's a lot of responsibility, but I'm up for a challenge. I'm still taking classes part time. I haven't lost track of my ultimate goal of becoming a veterinarian. :) - Meghan |
